I was raised in Canon City and lived here until I was 17 when my family moved to the Denver area. After moving back in 2003, to raise our family in a smaller town, my husband Tim and our 7 wonderful children are thrilled to call Canon home. Serving women and showing them the incredible love that Jesus has for them has always been close to my heart. It is the desire of the staff and volunteers to give the hope that comes only from a relationship with the Lord to the people who walk through the doors of the center. Every client is a new chance to walk with someone and show them the grace that Christ has given to all of us.

My husband of almost 47 years and I have resided in Canon City for 31 years. This is a

great community to raise a family in, and we did just that. There are so many organizations in Canon that devote themselves to the care of those in need. I wanted to be a part of that, and have throughly enjoyed my time here at the Pregnancy Center. Working as the Volunteer Coordinator has been a blessing as well as working with the clients. To be able to assist clients in their time of need and share the love of Christ with them is what this ministry is all about.

I love being able to talk to the clients like a grandmother who cares what their future holds. Having 14 grandchildren of my own, I have a heart for the girls who need someone to walk with through these turbulent times.

We have some of the best volunteers in the community- and we appreciate them. There are so many different facets to this ministry, God can use whatever talents you have for His glory.

My husband, Nathan and I moved to Canon in May 2008, after graduating from Western State College in Gunnison. We had our first baby, Isaac James, in July 2008. We are so excited to be here and to be a part of this amazing ministry. I've always had a calling on my heart for some type of women's ministry, and I feel so blessed that the Lord led me to the Pregnancy Center. I also have a desire to see teen's lives changed, and to see them grow in their faith. I am excited to see what God has in store for ATOMIC, and how He can use me to serve the women and teens of Canon.
